The mantras, translated into Swahili, create a unique and mesmerizing sound that is both beautiful and powerful.

"GODSPEAK: Suite 1" is more than just an album; it's a journey into one's divine self. It's a meditative tool for your peace arsenal if you are Black in America. It's a love letter to the indwelling God. Jennifer crafted this project alone in her home during the COVID-19 quarantine, at a time when the world was grappling with the tragic murder of George Floyd. Like many of us, Jennifer was searching for a way to find solace and strength. The album was then recorded in the Trap Heals Studio in South Los Angeles.

Studies have shown that the practice of chanting healing mantras profoundly and positively affect the brain's ability to create new neuro pathways thus healing our traumas, especially when done in a group setting. Reciting mantras can help to reduce stress, improve focus, and increase feelings of well-being. With "GODSPEAK: Suite 1," Jennifer intends for this project to be used similarly to the practice of Kirtan, allowing people to gather, sing, move, and heal together.
