A message from our founder, Jenn Johns :
It feels wonderful to be back home in the States. I feel something big and beautiful brewing for us here! South Africa, as always taught me so much about myself, my heart, my talents, and my purpose. There will be much to unpack in the coming days, weeks, and so on. However, one of the most important lessons I re-learned while there- that feels timely and important is that nothing ever happens just for you. God may tailor make a blessing/lesson for you to experience but the ripple effect of our talents and testimonies are like holy scripture, road maps, divine intervention to someone else who needs the wisdom born of your triumphs and tragedies.
Godspeak is something I made because I needed new mantras and melodies that reminded me of God’s love for me in every aspect of my being. I needed to create new neuropathways! I needed something to hold me when George Floyd was murdered or when floods and wars last too long and I need money. I also made it because I needed something black and beautiful to rejoice and give thanks and dance and sing and scream to! For the last 4 years, Godspeak has been a blessing I have shared with a few and it is now time to allow these mantras to be of service to whomever finds them.
